After the 2022 race, World Athletics website had a special report about Brasov Running Festival titled ”Fast 10km times from Kipkorir and Chepkirui as records fall in Brasov”.
We were proud that we could bring Brasov into the lights of the world athletics stage!
Here is what the report stated:
”Nicholas Kipkorir Kimeli led a sub-27:00 top three, while Sheila Chepkirui came close to the women-only world record, as they both set Romanian all-comers’ records at the Brasov Running Festival 10km, a World Athletics Elite Label road race, on Sunday (25)”
