adidas – technical partner at Brașov Running Festival
Brașov Running Festival, the event dedicated to running that includes the only road running competition in Romania certified by the World Athletics Elite Label, announces that adidas, one of the most important sports equipment brands in the world, becomes, from 2023, the technical partner of the competition.
The event will take place in Brașov, in the Coresi district, between September 9 and 10, 2023, and will include races dedicated to amateurs, but also two certified races dedicated to professional athletes tRUNsylvania International 10K and European Road Mile.
This year, the technical partner of the Brașov Running Festival is adidas, which will provide the official T-shirts for the runners in the 5K and 10K races, as well as those of the competition staff members. The jerseys incorporate the innovative Aero ready technology, created by adidas to maintain comfort and support athletes' performance during intense physical movement. Also, 3 athletes supported by adidas are the first ambassadors of this edition: Joan Chelimo Melly, Nicolae Soare and Stella Rutto. They will promote Brașov Running Festival at the competitions they participate in, they will be present at dedicated events and meetings with fans.

This year's event promises to be a spectacular one, which will bring together established names of world athletics at START, in the tRUNsylvania International 10K and European Road Mile races, specially created for professional athletes. Also expected are numerous amateur runners, children, youth and adults who have the chance to run in a setting organized according to the highest world standards.
"This year, Brașov Running Festival will be more than a sports competition, it will be a festival of running where elite and amateur races are the stars. The experience will be consistently amplified by the entertainment area, concerts, activations and numerous other related activities. We expect around 3,000 participants in the organized races and over 30,000 spectators from the whole country, but also from abroad. We will prepare 3 cheering zones where spectators can cheer on the runners, but also enjoy live concerts by well-known bands. Registration has already started for amateur athletes who can choose between distances of 5KM and 10KM, and children and juniors can opt for the 800m, 1200m and 3KM races. More information about the rules and registration can be found on the official website of the competition: www.brasovrun.ro.
Professional athletes (licensed athletes) who wish to participate in the elite races (Brașov tRUNsylvania International 10K, European Road Mile (one mile), BRF 3K juniors or BRF 5K) are asked to send a request to elite@brasovrun.ro.

About Brașov Running Festival
Brașov Running Festival is an event dedicated to running, organized in Brașov, starting in 2021. It comprises an annual World Athletics Elite Label-accredited 10 km road race called "tRUNsylvania International 10K". Beyond this, the competition contains a multitude of other races for amateurs as well as professionals.
The races are run on a loop with a length of 3,494 m, using the same finish line, but having starting points that vary according to the length of the stage.
The 2022 edition of the race, held on September 25, was marked by a series of spectacular records. It has never been run so fast in Romania. Kenyan runners Nicholas Kimeli and Sheila Chepkirui won the 10KM with times of 26:51 and 30:07 respectively. Kimeli's time established him as the fifth fastest 10KM runner of all time, and Chepkirui just missed out on breaking the women's 10KM world record.
